If you want to find out how many calories are in any food or beverage just look at the label.  The nice part about coffee and calories is you are starting at zero, zero carbohydrates and zero nutritional value.  The problem starts when you start to add all of the things you put in the coffee.  When you add the sugar, cream, sweeteners, you are adding calories in coffee and they do add up the fast.

That’s a lot for a drink that started out at zero. Another example of a high calorie drink is a latte. A tall one has an amazing two hundred and ten calories. Most dieters would agree that these drinks would not be beneficial to their diets, but without doing the research on the calories in coffee drinks there is no way to know what they are actually consuming.

Low Calorie Coffee Tips

When you fix coffee to your liking, chances are you will add calories. There is however ways that you can cut down your intake of calories consumed in coffee.

Choose a small cup (eight or 12 ounces)
Use that free milk, this will save you 80 Grams of fat
Use a sugar substitute (1 tbsp = 15 calories)
Order your coffee without cream, whipped cream, syrups
Only have one to two cups
